Dr. Darren Poncelet, B.Sc., D.C.
Dr. Darren Poncelet received his first degree in advanced physiology from the University of Saskatchewan in 1989 and graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1993.
After two years of practice in Saskatchewan, Dr. Darren opened the vision based holistic Health and Wellness Centre here in Newmarket in 1995. His passion and ongoing mission is to educate the community about the wonderful benefits of Chiropractic and how to achieve optimal health. Over the years, Dr. Darren has helped many achieve their health goals, recover from unfortunate accidents and injuries and maximize their health potential.
Committed to the community and children’s health, Dr. Darren founded the Children’s Health Festival in 2004.
As a dynamic guest speaker, Dr. Darren inspires action in regards to one’s health by setting health goals and not putting off healthy daily habits. He enrols individuals to take responsibility for their health today and begin the lifelong journey to learn about, take steps to achieve and then maintain optimal health. Dr. Darren is available for talks, leads workshops and company talks.
Dr. Darren lives in Aurora with his wife and two children. He is an avid fisherman and enjoys many outdoor activities with his family. His other interests include skiing in the winter, wood turning and wood carving. The stained glass work in the clinic was done mainly by Dr. Darren.
